  9. Guacamole and plantain chips

Mash avocado with lime, salt, and garlic; choose chips with checked labeling.

For a celiac-safe kitchen

Read the current label of every packaged ingredient, including seasonings, chips, chocolate, dips, and rice cakes. An FDA-regulated “gluten-free” label has a defined standard; a third-party certification is an additional choice, not a guarantee about your home preparation. Use clean tools and avoid shared crumbs and cross-contact.
